Stories and updates from life inside Two Clinton Park.
The Labor Day Celebration on September 7 drew 21 RSVPs on our community platform, Cobu, and set the tone for a busy month at Two Clinton Park. Between three resident events, a steady stream of marketplace listings, and a wave of new neighbor introductions, September gave residents plenty of reasons to connect.
September was anchored by community gatherings on the 9th Floor Lounge and a lot of day to day neighbor activity in between. Residents swapped furniture, gave away books, asked for help moving pieces into their apartments, and welcomed new faces to the building. The month leaned heavily on two themes: meeting new neighbors and passing along things people no longer needed.
Food and local spots came up often too, from restaurant shout outs to the catering behind our events. The result was a month that felt practical and friendly, with plenty of back and forth in the comments.
The month opened with the Labor Day Celebration on September 7, a DJ powered evening with light bites and a red, white, and blue specialty drink. It earned 21 RSVPs, the most of any September event.
On September 19, Moving Forward! brought entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals together in the 9th Floor Lounge for an evening of networking over light bites. Hosted by a resident and sponsored by EZ Haul Movers, it collected 19 RSVPs in the event listing.
The month closed with the End of Summer Grill Off on September 26, featuring a BBQ spread and drinks provided by Posto 22 and a summer playlist. It drew 20 RSVPs. Our residents clearly enjoy gathering in shared spaces, and you can see the rooms behind these events on our amenities page.
New resident introductions were a big part of the month. One pair shared that they moved from Virginia after taking over Sage Deli in Mamaroneck, a neighborhood deli open since 1975. Another resident introduced herself while launching Playday, a collectible sticker brand. A move in day question about unit access turned into a flurry of helpful replies, with neighbors pointing to the SmartRent app, the concierge, and the leasing office.
Residents also looked out for each other in smaller ways. Someone asked for help moving furniture into a daughter's room and got an offer within minutes. Another neighbor searched for help installing a ceiling curtain track. When a cat escaped a unit, neighbors jumped in with suggestions and the owner later posted, "We found her thank you everyone."
The Marketplace was constantly moving. Listings included Staub cookware, Donna Karan lamps, bar stools, coffee tables, a filing cabinet, and a free WayB Pico portable car seat. A couple of residents gave away large book collections, with titles like "Wild" and a Barack Obama memoir claimed by neighbors. One resident even offered a finished bird puzzle to pass along.
The Board games group was a standout. A resident started organizing Mahjong lessons, looking for three to seven people to learn together one weeknight for four weeks, and several neighbors chimed in to join. The Book Club had its own momentum, with residents trading recommendations like "I Who Have Never Known Men" and "Wool," and a new member asking for additions to her reading list. Our Foodie Group, Tasting Club, Dog Group, and Green Thumb plant community round out the ways residents connect over shared interests. These groups give people easy starting points for conversation, which matters when you want to find your people in a large building. If you are weighing a move, our property website has more information about the community.
Residents named real places they like. One called Scratch on Division Street their favorite local restaurant, and a neighbor replied, "Been there love it." Sage Deli in Mamaroneck entered the conversation through its new owners. For activity, a resident group kept its Pickleball Sundays going at Pickle Rage in New Rochelle, welcoming all levels. Posto 22 provided the food and drinks for the Grill Off.
The month showed a community that pitches in. Residents answered each other's questions quickly, handed off belongings instead of tossing them, and welcomed newcomers with real warmth. Between organized events and spontaneous help, Two Clinton Park neighbors clearly treat the building as a place to know one another.
There is always something starting up here, whether it is a new game night, a fresh Marketplace find, or the next gathering in the lounge. Stay active on Cobu and keep the introductions coming. If you are considering making Two Clinton Park home, view a virtual tour to explore the community online.
